This experience has also been the catalyst for another professional transition, more of a philosophical shift than a full transition, but it will shape the way I approach my work for years to come. I’ve entered the phase in which my accolades and access give me leverage to propel others forward. Undoubtedly they would/will find center stage on their own (and in many ways they already have) but now when I’m offered a seat at a table where they should be, it’s my privilege to give them my seat. There’s been a whole lot of real good in my life There’s been a whole lot of real good in my life lately, and sometimes it feels like a dream. That Rosenblum quote plays on repeat in my mind as I celebrate the ones who make my life inexhaustible in its richness. This trip was a few weeks ago, but I like how looking back at my timeline to revisit past experiences makes me feel, so I’m posting these now so I can revisit this moment with my amazing family on some distant date.
